ABOUT
ME!
A passion for new experiences led me to move from the coast of Portland, Maine to Georgia Southern University the same month I turned 18 years old. While I was completing my degree in Psychology and enjoying my work with developmentally disabled people, I was cast in a lead role in a play on my University’s main stage. The same month I was cast in the movie, “1969” with Robert Downey Jr. and Kiefer Sutherland. I went on to play many lead roles before completing a degree in Theater/Media.
Immediately after college, I began training with “The Second City” in Chicago which led to performing with dozens of Chicago Improv groups and touring the country with Wavelength Improv.
In 1993, I founded the Whole World Theater in Atlanta and sold out Improv comedy shows every week until I left in 2001. From 1996 - 2001 my shows were filmed for television and aired on Turner South and garnered high Nielsen ratings. During this time, I won a Southeastern Regional Emmy Award in the category of “Writer.” My piece also won an Emmy for “Lighting.”
From 2001-2004 the Island of Kauai became my home and where I owned a Theater and a touring Improv company.
In 2004, I opened a film studio in Charlottesville, Virginia in order to master acting on camera. Here I employed a full-sized movie screen to watch my footage daily and study the art of modern on-camera acting.
I unanimously won the Jury Award Prize at UVA’s Adrenaline filmmaking competition and have gone on to cut my chops in several independent films.
Now, I am approaching the industry of Film and Television to audition as a fresh face with the power to blow people away on screen in both serious and comedic roles.
